What are The Eligibility Requirements for the Government of Colombia Foreign Scholarship
To apply for this scholarship, you must:
- Be a foreign citizen.
- Not have Colombian nationality.
- Not live in Colombia or have lived there in the past 6 months before applying.
- Not have started any studies in Colombia at the time of application.
- Be ready to provide a Certificate of Migratory Movements if asked by ICETEX.
- Not be married to or in a relationship with someone in Colombia.
- Not have received a scholarship from ICETEX before under the Beca Colombia program.
- Be under 50 years old.
- Have a GPA of at least 4.0 out of 5.0 (or equivalent in your country) from your undergraduate studies.
- Hold an undergraduate or graduate degree in any subject.
- Have admission to 1 to 3 postgraduate programs listed in the 2025-2 Academic Offer Catalog.
- Be in good physical and mental health, confirmed by a doctor.
